Fan-aspirated shield without systemic temperature error
BARANI DESIGN Technologies

While fan-aspirated radiation shields (FARS) have improved temperature accuracy in low wind, they can introduce errors during periods of vertical temperature gradients near the ground, which occur quite often. These errors, present in many meteorological databases, have long been overlooked. The FARS MeteoShield Pro (Gen 3) addresses this issue, ensuring precise air temperature measurements by maintaining the correct measurement height. Designed with aerospace CFD tools, it is the only commercial FARS to offer this level of accuracy. Plus, even if the fan fails, it measures as accurately as its top-rated naturally ventilated counterpart, the MeteoShield Pro (Gen 3). Both shields are fully interchangeable.
