EXPO NEWS: Delta OHM showcases toughest series of anemometers yet!
Delta OHM

Thanks to its new aluminum casing and compact design, the HD51 ultrasonic anemometer series from Delta OHM is the Italian manufacturer’s toughest to date. Showcased for the first time at Meteorological Technology World Expo 2018, taking place in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on October 9-11, the HD51.3D4R and the HD51.3D4R-AL are the newest additions to a wide range of anemometers, each designed to suit a specific purpose and budget.

As the newest model in the range, the HD51.3D4R-AL has been purpose-built to suit harsh environments and can comfortably handle windspeeds of up to 85m/s, and all the way up to 100m/s without failing.

“There is an increasing demand for tougher and tougher anemometers as research endeavors become more adventurous,” said Heerco Walinga, international business development manager, Delta OHM. “This new line of anemometers has been built for just that purpose and is the result of our own R&D and in-house production methods in Italy.”

Alongside its latest anemometers, Delta OHM is also demonstrating its improved line of pyranometers for measuring solar irradiance. The new tougher manufacturing methods mean that Delta OHM is able to offer customers a six-year warranty on its range – the only pyranometers on the market to do so.
