meteoblue
meteoblue is a Swiss one-stop-shop for global high-quality weather and climate data. Its meteoblue Learning MultiModel (mLM) processing chain fuses proprietary and third-party weather models with observations and measurements, applying state-of-the-art AI technology to achieve the highest-possible accuracy for any location on Earth.
Using satellite images and 3D models, inner-city temperature is simulated accurately at 10m, hyperlocal wind at 2m resolution, thanks to recent enhancements of the meteoblue City Climate offer. The attractive visualization and heat-wave notifications facilitate effective heat-wave management for cities worldwide. IoT station networks can be integrated for monitoring and evaluating the impact of climate adaptation measures.
New weather API: While the general functionality remains unchanged, the algorithms and computation cluster were modernized, increasing API performance by a factor of about 100. This allows real-time correction and post-processing in minute-to-minute resolution, based on the latest radar and satellite observations, and measurements from more than 250,000 stations.
