LiCuVision - the full picture solution
)
This year, Graw completes the puzzle with the detailed
'full picture' of meteorological measurements based on the AI solution
LiCuBrain, the LiCuVision software package and other devices. For this purpose,
the extended lidarCube family will be presented. In addition to the lidarCube,
this includes both the lidarCube mini and the LiCuSkyObserver. Together, they
create a database with unprecedented resolution, quality, speed and data
availability. The lidarCube family functions as a scalable cluster architecture
from a single device to a global network.
For all known and relevant application scenarios as
well as those that still seem rather futuristic today, Graw not only relies on
the obligatory hardware components at this point, but combines the whole thing
with highly innovative, smart software. This includes an all-encompassing,
groundbreaking AI solution. This results in completely new system solutions for
every conceivable customer need.
The LiCuVision software package aggregates the data of
entire device networks or clusters – regardless of the device type and
measurement method. Via standardized interfaces, the open platform can also
integrate other data sources from existing customer devices, such as
radiosondes, radars and others.
With the extremely powerful AI LiCuBrain, the
usability of the LiDAR measurement methods can be significantly extended, and
the measurement data itself can be significantly improved. Overall, LiCuBrain
helps to understand the weather in a fine and sensitive way and to
significantly improve the quality of forecasting.
During the development of the technology, a separate
procedure has been developed with which LiDAR devices can be calibrated and
verified even at high altitudes – using various independent measurement
methods.
