The Microcom Environmental product line was conceived and launched in at the beginning of this century with the development and release of the DigiTrak satellite Data Collection System (DCS) receiver. In the intervening 25 years, the Environmental division of Microcom Design, Inc. has expanded its DCS product offering to include DCS satellite transmitters, transmit antennas, environmental sensors, additional satellite receive systems, software, and ancillary equipment.
As Microcom celebrates 25 years of its environmental product line, 2025 is also 50th anniversary of the founding of Microcom!
