Since January 1st, 2025, WIS 2.0 is operational. In the coming years, all WMO Members using the current system (WIS and GTS) will have to migrate to this new solution. Unlike it predecessors, WIS 2.0 is build on open standards, open source tools minimizing the cost of development and support.
This session will provide an overview of the architecture as well as the progress of the adoption by Members.

• A better understanding on the new WMO Data Sharing platform and a view on the plan for the upcoming years.
