Quality assurance is crucial in meteorology and strongly advocated by WMO.
Calibration laboratory for sensors of meteorological observing networks and long-standing WMO Regional Instrument Centre, Météo France Laboratory of Metrology was granted ISO 17025 accreditation by Cofrac in February 2026, for temperature, pressure and humidity calibrations, as a result of a 5-year plan hard work.
