The presentation outlines innovative measurement modules developed by Marlin-Yug LLC; since 2023, these have been used to establish a unified network of observation boreholes for Roshydromet, designed for background monitoring of permafrost in Russia’s Arctic and sub-Arctic zones. Structurally, the measurement module comprises a thermometric string, a data logger, a transmitter, and a replaceable power source housed in a compact protective casing that ensures autonomous operation for at least two years.
