Baron Introduces Flood Finder: On-Demand Flash Flood Guidance in Minutes, Down to the Street Level
Baron Flood Finder simulated maximum water depth for Sierra Inn, Swain, NY over a 12-hour period beginning on March 31, 2026. Flooding is concentrated along Canaseraga Creek and the NY-70 corridor, with a modeled depth of 2.88 m at the Inn location and widespread inundation along Canaseraga Creek northwest of Swain.
Flash flood guidance in minutes, down to the street level. Baron Weather introduces Flood Finder at Booth C12.
According to the WMO, flash floods cause nearly 85% of flood-related deaths worldwide, yet traditional flood modeling can take hours. Flood Finder closes that gap. Its physics-trained AI model delivers street-level flood guidance in as little as 5–10 minutes, resolving the depth, velocity and direction of floodwater at resolutions up to 10 meters anywhere in the world.

Flood Finder combines radar-derived precipitation estimates, high-resolution numerical weather prediction and AI flood modeling into one integrated solution. Guidance runs on demand, can be re-run as conditions evolve and is delivered in industry-standard GeoTIFF formnullat. See a live demo and real-world case studies at Booth C12.
