MeteoHelix® IoT Pro
Every detail is engineered around long-term measurement confidence. MeteoHelix IoT Pro delivers measurements that meet World Meteorological Organization requirements, with temperature accuracy of ±0.1 °C from 0 °C to 65 °C and long-term stability better than 0.03 °C per year. Relative humidity accuracy reaches ±1.5% RH, while atmospheric pressure is measured with ±0.5 hPa accuracy between 750 and 1,100 hPa. Measurements are sampled every 10 seconds in accordance with WMO requirements.
Its unmistakable appearance is the result of functional engineering. The patented MeteoShield® Professional Gen³ uses a naturally ventilated double-helix geometry to organise airflow around the sensors and minimise errors caused by direct, diffuse and reflected solar radiation. Unlike conventional multi-plate screens, the helical airflow helps reject dirt, sand, dust, rain and snow, keeping the sensing elements cleaner and maintaining accuracy over long deployments. This makes MeteoHelix particularly effective above snow, water, pavement, dark soil and other high-reflectivity or heat-radiating surfaces.
Premium performance also means durability and serviceability. The robust, impact-resistant helical structure protects the internal sensors in demanding outdoor environments, while the IP65W housing resists dust and severe weather. A removable and interchangeable sensor tip makes calibration, traceability and field servicing straightforward. Instead of replacing the complete station, the sensing element can be removed for calibration or exchanged, reducing downtime and protecting the customer’s long-term investment.
An integrated solar panel and internal lithium-ion battery provide more than four months of operation without sunlight. Installation requires no wired power or data connection: mount the station, activate it magnetically and connect it to the network. Its compact dimensions and universal stainless-steel holder allow fast deployment without the towers, large solar panels and complex infrastructure associated with traditional professional weather stations.
LoRaWAN connectivity provides reliable wireless data transmission, with an NB-IoT version coming soon. Measurements can be viewed, managed and exported through the allMETEO® web portal, while API access and an open communication format allow straightforward integration with external platforms and professional monitoring systems.
MeteoHelix IoT Pro is ideal for precision agriculture, urban microclimate and heat-island research, industrial monitoring, resilient-city networks, coastal locations, airstrips and remote environmental stations. Developed by BARANI, the hidden gem of professional meteorology, it represents a practical definition of premium: distinctive patented design, proven measurement quality, long-term stability, robust construction and professional data without unnecessary complexity.
