The S700-C is equipped with multiple sensors measuring crucial parameters for gathering a wealth of environmental data, including air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, total solar radiation, sunshine duration, rain intensity (Radar Rainfall), wind speed and wind direction.

Versatile Output Interface

The S700-C offers 2 common and reliable output interfaces, namely RS485 (supports MODBUS-RTU protocol) and SDI-12.

Thermostatically-controlled Heating System

This heating system is thermostatically controlled, ensuring that the device can maintain its normal working state and accurate measurement capabilities at extremely cold temperatures.

Powerful Components

  • Long Cable for Mounting: A 3-meter cable is provided for pole mounting,
  • Accuracy-enhancing Shields: Radiation shields are equipped which minimize the impact of external factors on the sensor's readings.
  • Advanced Wind Sensors: It uses ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensors without movable components. This design with bird-proof structure not only reduces the risk of mechanical wear and tear but also improves the durability and accuracy of wind measurement.

Hardware Overview
Wire Connection

The equipment uses M12 connectors with an 8-core specification. Cables in 8 different colors are used to supply power to the equipment and for data communication.

The bottom wire outlet is 3m. There is a six-core wire cable, including wires in colors of white, brown, green, yellow, gray, pink, blue and red.

The SenseCAP ONE series supports connection to various data acquisition devices, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) or Host Computers via RS485, ASCII and SDI-12 protocols.
