Agile RF Systems (ARS) develops advanced radar and RF solutions for weather, defense, and commercial applications. Our new low-power X-band weather radar combines a multichannel software-defined radio (SDR) with a hybrid electronic/mechanical scanning architecture, enabling rapid volumetric scanning, adaptive scanning, and multifunction operation. This flexible architecture supports simultaneous or rapidly sequenced weather missions, including precipitation monitoring, nowcasting, severe weather detection, and other emerging applications, while enabling software-driven capability upgrades throughout the system lifecycle. Designed for distributed deployment, ARS radar provides high-performance, localized atmospheric sensing for smart-city infrastructure, regional weather networks, critical infrastructure, and applications requiring timely, actionable weather intelligence.
