IACIT
is one of the few companies in the world to manufacture a Weather Rada,100%
solid-state, S-Band, Dual-Polarization –
the RMT 0200.
This
equipment was developed to detect atmospheric phenomena within a 400 km radius,
providing accurate forecasts of storms and other severe weather events.
In
addition to cloud location, the radar provides rainfall volume and intensity
and determines weather a hydrometeor is ice, snow or water.
Another
essential tool for decision-making and mitigation of the impacts of severe
weather, developed by IACIT, is MIND.
MIND
is a web-based Command and Control platform that fuses data from various
sources. The system is capable of performing real-time analysis based on
artificial intelligence to generate short-term alerts and accurate forecasts
for natural disaster prevention and air traffic control operations.
The
RMT0200 Radar and MIND are in use in Brazil, contributing to the safety of en
route aircraft and civil defense during critical operations.
