With 50 years of experience in the meteorological field, TECNAVIA leads innovation with the Skyceiver MTG, a next-generation system for advanced forecasting, nowcasting and data monitoring.

This  cost-effective, cutting-edge Swiss solution receives and processes data from  METEOSAT Third Generation (MTG) satellites, offering automatic updates and powerful data analysis. It  processes and displays Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) data, running efficiently even on older hardware and low-memory systems.

Developed using highly optimized native code, Skyceiver MTG is web-based solution compatible with most existing infrastructures, capable of exporting data in a wide range of formats. It enables  national meteorological services to manage the increasing volume and complexity of satellite and terrestrial data, including streams from EUMETCast and HR feeds.

Part of the PUMA2025 project, Skyceiver MTG is deployed across over 50 African countries, providing scalable, future-ready meteorological capabilities through modest and predictable investment.
