Registration is now live for Meteorological Technology World Expo, 6-8 October, in collaboration with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) hosting TECO from 5-8 October 2026, RAI Amsterdam. 

Following a record-breaking attendance in 2025 from a non-TECO year, Meteorological Technology World Expo will bring together the global weather, climate and environmental monitoring community for three days of innovation, knowledge sharing, and networking. Thousands of meteorological professionals, national weather service representatives, researchers, forecasters, aviation specialists, hydrologists, and technology providers will discover the latest advancements in observing systems, forecasting technologies, data management, satellite applications and climate monitoring solutions. 

Meteorological Technology World Expo is proud to be working in close collaboration with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) to host the WMO Technical Conference on Instruments and Methods of Observation (TECO-2026), a globally recognized forum dedicated to advancing Earth system measurements and observing technologies. 

Taking place alongside the Expo, TECO will bring together experts from National Meteorological and Hydrological Services, research institutions, academia, industry and international organizations to explore the latest developments in observation systems and measurement technologies.

Additionally, this year’s event will feature a dedicated Exhibitor Showcase Theatre, where leading industry organizations' including Meteoblue, Meteomatics, Senseca and many more will present the latest innovations, technologies and real-world applications driving advancements in meteorology and environmental monitoring. The conference theatres will provide visitors with practical insights, product demonstrations and expert perspectives from across the global weather technology community.

Call for Papers: 

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) invited abstract submissions from the global meteorological and environmental science community to showcase research, operational experience and technical innovation across Earth system observation. 

Contributions were welcomed across all key themes of the conference, including advances in measurement technologies, observing system design, instrument performance and quality assurance, sustainability, and the modernization of global observation networks. 

Abstract submission for TECO-2026 is now closed, with the scientific programme currently in development by the WMO.
