Eric received his Master of Science from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) with a focus on atmospheric science. After a first internship at MeteoSwiss in the biometeorology division on real-time pollen measurements, he completed a PhD in microwave remote sensing at the University of Bern on strato-mesospheric ozone measurements. Since 2024, he works in the upper-air measurements and data division at MeteoSwiss and is the network manager for EUMETNET’s E-Profile measurement programme.
