Jon joined Baron in 2021 as Vice President of Integrated Weather Systems. He brings more than 25 years of weather industry and international business experience. Jon is focused on optimizing the use of weather information to assist others to make operational decisions in all sorts of weather applications. He spent a lot of his time in the transportation industry where he was one of the early business leaders developing vehicle mounted sensor technology. Jon currently leads Baron’s international and government business providing Doppler radar, numerical weather prediction and fully integrated solutions for countries developing and expanding their national weather infrastructure.
