Klaas Schulze Dieckhoff received his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University. He began his career in the renewable energy sector, specializing in embedded firmware development and system design. Building on this technical foundation, he now leads research and development at KISTERS HydroMet, a global provider of environmental monitoring solutions with a focus on hydrology and meteorology. His work focuses on developing innovative instruments and sensor technologies that help customers obtain reliable, secure, and high-quality environmental data for better decision-making. Committed to open standards, he contributes to the First Mile Data Collection Task Team, established by the WMO and HMEI.
