Natali Giselle Aranda
Research Fellow,
National Metrology Instutue of Italy (INRiM)
Natali is a metrologist with a background in meteorology, specialising in the application of metrological principles to strengthen the quality of climate observations. She currently works at the National Metrology Institute of Italy (INRIM), and her research includes the characterization and calibration of temperature sensors, uncertainty analysis in both laboratory and field conditions, and the study of rock temperature in high-mountain environments.
Natali earned her PhD in Metrology with honours for her work on uncertainties and reference stations in climate and meteorological measurements. Prior to joining INRIM, she worked at the National Meteorological Service of Argentina, where she performed instrument calibration, network inspections, and data‑quality assessments.
