Dr. Tom Matthews is a climate scientist at King’s College London (UK). He has broad interests in the societal impacts of climate change and is currently leading a multi-year project studying the threats from the planet’s most extreme weather. Matthews has co-led expeditions of notable high-alpine environments including Nevado Ausangate (Peru), Anchohuma (Bolivia) Mount Everest (Nepal) and Aconcagua (Argentina).
