Dr. Vivek Gupta is a faculty member in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi. His work focuses on hydrology, hydro-meteorological extremes and climate-risk resilience in the Himalayan region. He contributes to research on streamflow observation, flood and drought processes, and hazard assessment, using advanced sensing, data assimilation and interpretable methods to support climate-resilient infrastructure and water management.
